Our Surrogate base compensation varies based on your location and surrogacy experience, with minimum base earnings starting at $50,000. In addition, you receive a generous benefits package—including a $2,000 signing bonus and additional support for injections, embryo transfer, maternity clothes, childcare, wellness programs, and more—totaling approximately $14,000 in extra benefits.

Qualifications and Requirements to Become a Surrogate
Age
Preferably between the ages of 21 and 38（ASRM recommends an age range of 21 to 45)
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must be in good physical and mental health
Criminal History
Surrogate applicants must agree to and pass criminal background checks.
Flexibility
The Surrogate will need to travel to the fertility clinic of the Intended Parent. IVF screening (1 day) and embryo transfer (3-4 days) travel required
U.S. Citizen & Permanent Resident
Louisiana is currently the only state where commercial surrogacy is illegal
Body Mass Index
18-32 range per clinic and REI's preference/medical requirements

Support System
Although our ACRC team offers continuous support to our Surrogates, we want you to feel supported by a spouse, partner, family member, or close friend throughout the process. If married or in a partnership, the spouse or partner must be willing to participate and cooperate as needed
One Successful Pregnancy
Must have had at least one uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery. Must also be raising her own child
Non-Smoker and Non-Drug User
Must agree to psychological, drug, & criminal screening
Finances & Living Conditions
Surrogates should demonstrate financial stability and reside in a healthy and safe living environment to ensure your safety and the safety of the baby.
Participation in surrogacy may necessitate foregoing food stamps or other forms of government assistance
