What Happens When a Surrogacy Checkup Reveals a Medical Condition for the baby? |
One of the most meaningful stories of 2025 comes from within the ACRC Global team.
Erica, one of ACRC Global’s dedicated case managers, is also a Surrogate currently on her journey and is now 26 weeks pregnant.
Earlier in the pregnancy, Erica experienced an unexpected and emotional challenge when further medical evaluations revealed a heart condition in the baby that would require specialized care after birth.
Our team helped coordinate care with a specialized medical team and ensured that Erica was connected with the appropriate specialists and hospital for delivery. Throughout this transition, her case manager, Slonee, along with other ACRC staff members, provided consistent emotional support, guidance, and reassurance during an incredibly stressful time.
